Goin' to the chapel...
9:37 AM
...and we're, gonna get ma-a-a-arried.
*At this time go ahead and scroll down to the bottom of the post and play the song right now. Do it. You know you want to. It'll be fun.
That was the song that was playing as the bride and her bridesmaids rode into the wedding site on white cloth-covered hay bales on a wagon pulled by a tractor. Love it! It was picturesque. Which is a word that could be used to describe the whole wedding, for that matter.
Barney and Nikki are two very unique, colorful personalities, and it was reflected by their one-of-a-kind, unforgettable wedding. Located down by the creek on the family farm, it was filled with rustic details like burlap and twine, old window frames, antique furniture and hay bales. They had lovely weather, great music, sweet vows, and good food. It was a lovely time.
Unfortunately, something was funky with my photography skills that night, and I'm quite disappointed in the pictures I got. I couldn't seem to find a way to capture the right lighting, and everything was either bathed in that horrendous flash light, or blurry. Ug. But since I'm sure you'd be more annoyed at not seeing any than seeing my flops, I will humble myself and put some on here.

Thanks shelley for your all your kind words! It thrills my heart To know other people enjoyed the wedding day too! We had so much fun! It turned out better than imagined! I just wish there was more time to spend with everyone!! I so appreciate you sharing these pictures! It's fun to see the details. I didn t have time to look through everything! I would say I had some pretty amazing Helpers though!!!! Thank you!!! Nikki
ReplyDeleteJust read the last few posts...Sometimes (quite often) I think it's not fair that you are so adorable, but you are so loveable I can't hold it against you. ;) That baby of yours is quite precious, too. Loved the first picture of her sitting on the chair. And loving her so much you could eat her--I didn't understand it either till I was a mom. Those babies have quite the effect on us, don't they? :)
ReplyDeleteNikki- I'm so glad you could relax and enjoy it! Isn't it just one of the best days imaginable? Christy- You are too sweet! Thanks for your comment, it's so encouraging to me.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
