Hawaii---not just for tourists.

Well we're back from our (belated) 5th anniversary trip to Hawaii, and let me tell you......it was AMAZING.  I mean, before we took this trip, in my mind Hawaii always seemed like one of those places that was probably a little overrated.  Tropical island paradise, palm trees, beaches, pineapples, blah blah blah.  It just sounded so tourist-y and cliche, and all of that jazz.

But when I discovered The Traveling Triplets and their documentation of their many adventures in Hawaii, it just shattered all of my pre-conceived notions of what Hawaii may or may not be like.  I mean, let's just say that Hawaii (or at least our experience of the island) could not begin to be overrated.   A lot of it depends on where you stay and what you do, much like any vacation would. But this trip......seriously the closest thing to paradise I've ever experienced.  Take that, Oregonians! (since everyone born here believes that Oregon is the Promised Land)

Unfortunately, I have no time at all today to even begin blogging about it.  But if you're at all interested in our many Hawaiian adventures, then tune back in later for one of (probably too many) vacation updates.

Aloha.
